Carbon footprint describes the amount of greenhouse gases that you, as an individual emit based on your daily activities. Often, we do this by using electricity – every time you charge your phone, leave your laptop plugged in overnight or even switch a light on, you are burning fossil fuels and releasing carbon dioxide. In fact, I’m doing the same thing right now by using my laptop to write this blog post. Scary right? Well, with today’s rapid climate change, yes. Very scary.
